Keys

The key is a component of electronic system of blocking of launch of the engine. The spare keys ordered in representative office of the Opel company guarantee trouble-free functioning of electronic system of blocking of launch of the engine.

In a head of a key the microchip by means of which automatic shutdown of system of an immobilization of the engine is made is built in. At loss of a key address to representative office of the Opel company.

When using of the key equipped with the microchip it is necessary to observe some special methods of precaution:

  1. At start of the engine you watch that the ring of a charm and other metal objects did not touch a plastic head of a key;
  2. Do not allow contact of a key during start of the engine with other keys equipped with the microchip in which the chip with the transceiver is established (including with keys from other cars);
  3. Do not bend a head of a key and try not to subject a key to shock loadings;
  4. Do not place a key head in any protective covers capable to interfere with passing of alarm impulses;
  5. Do not subject a key to long influence of high temperature and direct sunshine;
  6. You hold a key dry, do not allow contact it with water and other liquids;
  7. Do not leave a key near sources of electromagnetic radiation.

Refusals of operation of activators of the uniform lock on command from the DU panel can speak several reasons:

  1. Range of operation of the panel is exceeded, - repeat attempt from shorter distance;
  2. The internal battery of the panel is discharged, - replace the battery;
  3. Synchronization of a radiator with the intake as a result of frequent use of the panel from excessively long distance is broken, - execute repeated synchronization;
  4. Attempt to make repeated activation of locks later excessively short period, - wait not less than 30 seconds, then repeat attempt;
  5. The active hindrances connected with functioning on proximity of a source of a powerful radio emission take place, - repeat attempt from shorter distance, in case of need unlock a door by means of a key.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

In case of refusal act as follows:
  1. When unlocking a door turn a key in the door lock in the direction A, having overcome resistance point, then return it to vertical position.
  2. When locking, - to turn in the direction B against the stop, then to return to a starting position.

Replacement of a battery

If range of operation of the panel of the remote control unit decreases, it is necessary to make replacement of a battery.

Through a special opening hook a latch of fixing of the DU panel the small screw-driver.

The successful completion of process of synchronization is confirmed by single operation of activators of door locks.

Situation "0" - blocking

люч it can be entered into the lock or it is taken from it only in this situation. At turn of the ignition key from situation "0" in situation "I" there is an unblocking of a steering column. To turn a key from situation "I" in situation "0", it is necessary to press slightly previously it, having a little drowned in the lock. Besides, on the models equipped with automatic transmission, an additional condition of permission of start is obligatory transfer of the lever of the selector to situation "P".

Blocking the helmsman of a column is carried out automatically in attempt to turn a steering wheel after extraction of a key from the ignition lock.

Blocking the helmsman of a column sometimes brings impossibility to turn a key in the ignition lock. In such situation it is necessary to turn slightly a steering wheel in this or that party (for the purpose of removal of loading), at the same time turning a key in the lock.

Do not take a key from the lock from the ignition lock during the movement at all! It will inevitably lead to blocking of a steering column and loss of control over management. Take out a key from the lock only after a full stop of the car!

Situation "I" - parking

In this position of the ignition key the possibility of functioning of auxiliary consumers of the electric power (the audio system, the lighter, the heater fan, screen wipers, etc.) is provided.

Situation "II" - ignition is included

The ignition key is in this situation constantly during the movement of the car, and also during the operation of the engine on single turns. Electric food of all systems and the additional equipment installed on the car is at the same time provided. At turn of a key from situation situation quickly joins some of the control lamps located on an instrument guard of the car, confirming serviceability of functioning of the corresponding control systems.

At the corresponding complete set at turn of a key in situation "II" there is an automatic inclusion of light of headlights.

Situation "III" - start

At turn of a key in this situation there is an inclusion of a starter. After implementation of start of the engine the key should be released, and it will automatically return to situation "II".

If the car is equipped with system of an immobilization, then start of the engine will be blocked if the anticreeping system does not identify a key code.

System of an immobilization of the engine

The engine immobilization device can be included in a basic equipment of anticreeping system of some models (more simply - an immobilizator). The device serves for prevention of attempts of unauthorized start of the engine and is effective anticreeping remedy, protecting the car from car thieves.

The microchip making shutdown of the anti-theft device immobilizing the engine enters a head of keys of the models equipped with system of an immobilization of the engine.

Damage of the microchip can lead to loss of a possibility of implementation of start of the engine! Do not allow excessive heating of keys, do not leave them for a long time under the influence of direct sunshine; try not to drop keys and not to put on them heavy objects; avoid moisture influence, accurately wipe the become wet set dry with soft fabric.

Replaceable batteries to the microchip are not provided, - at all do not make independent attempts to sort a key head!

The engine of the car equipped with an immobilizator can be started only by means of the ignition key equipped with the built-in microchip. In the microchip the special code is ciphered, and the anticreeping system makes blocking shutdown only in case of its identification. The attempt of start of the engine by means of any other key or a master key leads to shutdown of a chain of start of the engine.

At inclusion of ignition (the ignition key is turned in situation) the control lamp of malfunctions (MIL) lights up for several seconds, then dies away (see the Section Dashboard). The blinking of the indicator says that the system did not identify a key code. In this case it is necessary to switch off ignition (a key - in situation "0") and to take out a key from the lock, then to repeat attempt.

There is a probability of neoknowledge by system of a code of the key which is in the ignition lock if close are any other key with the built-in microchip. For reliable identification of a code we advise to keep each key in a separate sheaf.

If the system repeatedly refuses to identify a key code, address on car repair shop of the company manufacturer of the car.

Do not make attempts to make any changes and additions to an immobilizator design. It can break normal functioning of electronic systems of the car and make it uncontrollable.

In case of loss of a key and impossibility of start of the engine, address on HUNDRED Opel.

Inclusion/shutdown of the anticreeping alarm system

The anticreeping alarm system with the independent power supply gives the chance of work of a siren at the switched-off battery. At work, demanding shutdown of the battery, switch-off the alarm system in advance. For this purpose switch on and off ignition and within no more than 15 seconds switch-off the battery.

Inclusion

The anticreeping alarm system provides control of attempts of unlocking of a cowl and all doors. In addition, the volume sensor in salon is included in the package of system. Besides, attempts of use of the lock of ignition are separately blocked. The possibility of shutdown of the sensor of volume of salon is provided that allows to leave in the locked car of children and pets. For shutdown of the sensor switch off ignition and drown the push-button switch about the main saloon lamp - the control light-emitting diode of the anticreeping alarm system has to be activated for 10 seconds. Further, within 10 seconds it is necessary to lock doors and to activate the alarm system.

Track that the cowl and a cover of the luggage compartment were also locked before switching off of the sensor. At operation of the alarm system the siren joins, and indexes of turns begin to blink.

Activation of the anticreeping alarm system is followed by operation of the functioning of a light-emitting diode which is built in in the dashboard directly under the switch of the alarm system svetodiodarezhy allows to receive following information on a condition of under control elements:

  • Within the first 10 seconds after activation of the alarm system:
    • The light-emitting diode burns continuously: Control, inclusion delay.
    • The light-emitting diode blinks: Any of under control locks it is not locked, or the system is faulty.
  • 10 seconds later after activation of the alarm system:
    • The light-emitting diode blinks: The anticreeping alarm system is activated.
    • The light-emitting diode burns continuously 1 second: Function is switched off.

    In case of violation of serviceability of functioning of the anticreeping alarm system drive away the car on HUNDRED Opel.

    For activation of the anticreeping alarm system lock a driver's door, having turned a key in situation A1, then within 10 seconds return a key to vertical position and turn it in situation A2 When using the DU panel within 10 seconds after locking of locks repeatedly press unlockings of doors the button.     For locking of a luggage carrier turn a key in the lock of its cover in vertical position Horizontal position of the cylinder of the lock corresponds to the unlocked condition of a cover.

    At horizontal position of the cylinder activation of the lock of a door of a back is made along with activation of the lock of one of forward doors.

    At vertical position of the castle cylinder the luggage carrier remains locked even when unlocking doors from the DU panel.

    For unlocking of a luggage carrier at centrally the locked doors it is necessary to turn a key in the lock from vertical or horizontal position to the right against the stop, overcoming resistance.

    For protection against casual locking extraction of a key from the lock in this situation is not possible.

    Return of a key in initial (vertical or horizontal) leads situation to locking of the lock.

    Combo model back doors

    Open at first the right door, having pulled its external handle up, or having pressed the press handle on door inside. Then unblock the left door, having raised the press handle on its inside

    For opening of the panel release the handle from a groove in a roof, press its unblockings the button and turn the handle at the same time the sun-protection peak will rise. For fuller opening of the movable panel press unblockings the button again and rotate the handle to the left. Closing is made upside-down.

    Do not open the movable panel when finding on it of snow or its frosting. Opening and closing of the movable panel it is necessary to produce no more than 120 km/h at a speed of the movement of the car.

Short-term pressing a key allows to carry out stage-by-stage opening or closing of glass.     At emergence of resistance to raising of glass in the second half of its course functioning of a window regulator instantly stops that allows to avoid receiving by the driver and passengers of injuries as a result of pinching of hands or other parts of a body.

    If the stop of glass is connected with its frosting, it is necessary to repeat pressing the corresponding key several times.

    For activation of the electric drive of window regulators after interruption in supply of food or excessive power failure of the battery it is necessary to close all doors, to include ignition, and serially at the closed window to hold the pressed key of switches of each of doors within not less than 5 seconds.
