1. Remove the generator (see the Section Removal and installation of the generator).
2. Transfer the generator to a pure workbench and lay a pulley down.
3. Turn out fixing screws and remove a plastic cover.

4. Disconnect an electrical wiring and turn out two screws of fastening of brush knot.

5. If brushes are worn-out or damaged, replace brush knot.

6. Smooth out and check a condition of a working surface of rotor rings, in case of identification of signs of excessive wear or mechanical damages replace the generator assembled.
7. Assembly is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
8. In conclusion install the generator on the regular place (see the Section Removal and installation of the generator).
