3.17. Check and adjustment of turns of idling and maximum turns
Models with the diesel engine to 08.1997 g of the issue (every year).

The tachometer working by the principle of a photo cell is necessary for adjustment of turns of idling of the diesel engine. The photo diode of such tachometer reacts to light which is reflected from a white tag. Speed is read out directly from the device. |

- Apply with chalk on a forward fillet of a pulley of a bent shaft a stroke 1-2 cm wide or paste a strip of aluminum foil of the same width.

- Start the engine and warm up it. After achievement of working temperature of OZh be passed on the car of 5 more km to warm up motive oil up to the temperature not less 70th hail.
- Switch off everything consumers of power.

Idling turns

- Check a tachometer speed. It has to be with the range of 830 ÷ 930 rpm.
- If necessary give a lock-nut on the lever of adjustment of turns on TNVD and adjust idling speed the adjusting screw.

- Fix the adjusting screw.

Maximum turns
|
|
- Against the stop squeeze out the accelerator pedal and check speed a tachometer. Compare the received values to requirements of Control and routine maintenance of the car.
- If necessary give a lock-nut of the lever of adjustment of the maximum turns on TNVD and adjust the maximum turns the adjusting screw. Previously remove a protective cap from the adjusting screw.
Adjustment of the maximum turns
- Fix the adjusting screw and put on it a new protective cap.
