2.2. Information display

The display at the included ignition indication of values of time and temperature of external air, date or data of the chosen radio station, and also information of automobile phone (is displayed at the corresponding complete set).

Screen brightness on models without automobile phone is regulated by means of the same potentiometer which regulates intensity of illumination of devices; screen brightness on models with automobile phone is not regulated.

At the switched-off ignition the current information (time, date, temperature of external air) can be displayed for 15 seconds of the display by short-term pressing one of two managing directors of the buttons close to the screen.

After failure in onboard network of power supply of the car the data which are written down earlier are erased. After restoration of food the display for two minutes automatically switches in the mode of installation of date and time. In the presence of time signal on the RDS display of the models equipped with automobile phone automatically will determine date and time. Otherwise determine date and time independently.

Indication of temperature of external air

The thermometer reacts to air fall of temperature at once, and to increase – with some delay. Be careful: when the thermometer shows several degrees above zero, on the road there can already be an ice.

For the warning of risk of frosting of the road at decrease in temperature of external air to value about the 3rd hail indication blinks within about 20 seconds.

Signal of failure in work of system is a conclusion to the inscription display screen "– . - °C", or a symbol F - drive away the car on Opel car repair shop.

Installation of date and time

Manual installation

Turn on the radio receiver. Installation is made by means of two buttons and, located to the right of the display:

  1. Within about 2 seconds hold pressed the button , - the indication of day of the week has to begin to blink;
  2. By means of the button make installation of day of the week;
  3. By means of the button pass to installation of the indication of month;
  4. The button modify the indication;
  5. pass to installation of the indication of year;
  6. modify the indication;
  7. pass to installation of the indication of hours;
  8. modify the indication;
  9. pass to installation of the indication of minutes;
  10. modify the indication;
  11. start of hours (with zeroing of counting of second indications).

If necessary to determine only the correct current time, hold the button until the indication of hours or minutes begins to blink.

Automatic installation

On the models equipped with automobile phone, the current time and date can automatically be installed at revenues to the radio receiver of a signal of system of radio data (RDS).

The entrance to the mode of automatic installation of time on a signal of RDS is made as follows:

  1. Within about 2 seconds hold pressed the button , - hours have to pass into the control mode.
  2. Press the button twice , - the indication of year has to begin to blink;
  3. Hold the button pressed within about 3 seconds until on the screen of the display the pictogram is not highlighted in the flashing mode and there will be no inscription "RDS TIME" (the indication of year has to continue to blink);
  4. Pressing of the button make inclusion or switching off of the mode of automatic installation of time: RDS TIME 0 - off; RDS TIME 1 - incl.;
  5. For an exit from the installation mode press the button three times .
